Why we started
When our lead researcher first tried to understand how Solana accounts work, the official docs were correct but thin, and most community articles traded accuracy for reach. The good explanations were scattered across forum posts, video transcripts, and source comments. We built Mindkeystone to gather the patient explanations in one place, written by people who had read the source and were willing to be corrected.
How we write
Every guide is written from the source outward. We read the relevant Solana code and RPC behavior, draft a long version with diagrams, then cut it for clarity. We test claims against a local validator before publishing, and two readers work through each draft cold to mark where they stalled. A piece is not finished until those stalls are fixed.
The glossary is not a separate project. Each entry is written after the guide that uses the term, so a definition always points to a place where the word does real work. We publish fewer terms than a marketing page would, on purpose.
Who we are
We are four researchers and writers, plus a small group of volunteer readers who review drafts. Haneul Yoo leads the research and writes the consensus and runtime deep dives. So-yeong Baek keeps the glossary consistent. Jihoon Oh writes the program and account guides. Eunji Kang runs the guided study program and answers reader questions during office hours.
Where we work
We work from a small reading room in Dongjak-gu, Seoul, with a long table, a shelf of printed references, and a whiteboard that is usually covered in account diagrams. Readers enrolled in the study program are welcome to drop in for office hours by appointment.
